Pacific Helicopters has been flying PNG for nearly 50 years. Ahead of their 50th anniversary, they needed the brand to match the reputation. We created a campaign that repositioned them at ‘The Height of Aviation’: a refined creative direction built on authority, precision, and a legacy earned in the air.

The campaign identity is anchored by a measurement motif drawn from aviation instruments. An elevated serif typeface carries the tagline. Every design detail reflects how Pacific Helicopters operates: precise, deliberate, measured. The system was built to feel premium without losing the grit of a company that’s spent decades flying into PNG’s toughest terrain.

Malcolm Smith founded Pacific Helicopters in 1975 and spent decades becoming a fixture in PNG’s communities. We told that story through a heritage publication that traces the company’s roots, its people, and its connection to the Eastern Highlands. The founder’s legacy gave the brand its spine.

Three campaign pillars carried the message across print: Pacific Legacy, Born To Fly, and Above & Beyond. Each paired real staff and community photography with long-form copy that grounded the brand in its people and places. The work positioned Pacific Helicopters as a company built by its history, driven by its crew.

We built a bespoke icon pack and a social content system across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. A brand wheel mapped the company’s responsibilities to its people, clients, contractors and communities, giving the content strategy a clear structure to work from.
